Donald Whalen is still in prison from being convicted of murder in in Bloomington, IL. Recent DNA testing of the murder weapons has excluded him as a suspect from the murder, amongst other evidence. The deadline for the new trial is days, by June 13th, On March 14th, , prosecutors asked Judge Drazewski to reconsider his ruling granting Whalen a new trial.
